This new design is much cleaner and more compact. There’s a minor gateway to user-generated content.
As one whistle, it offered a link to live coverage of World Cup two-man bobsleigh racing from Whistler, B.C. But for the most part, not much news video evident.
If you want to go on a treasure hunt, try and find where to access the CBC’s Twitter feed or Facebook account.
It’s easier to do so on CBCNews.ca, but I don’t know why.

In a Facebook chat, one chum suggested the redesign was made to make CBC.ca more tablet-friendly.
